- ATAlexi TrinhNov 5, 20255.0I went to the Mercer Island Post Office today to send out a USPS Priority Envelope; the clerk, Hien, was very accommodating in helping me mail it. I'm sure for most, a trip to the Post Office is a mundane one, yet, if you think about it, come hail, rain, sleet, snow, apocalyptic lightning storm, or shine, our USPS comes through, and that's nothing short of Amazing.

Hein is wonderful and she is always doing her best to meet everyone's needs efficiently. They are clearly very understaffed however and that is unfair to the people working there.

I came here on a Saturday to get my fingerprints done for an FBI background check because the official USPS website clearly states this location is open for fingerprinting 10 AM – 2 PM on Saturdays. However, they were not offering the service at all, and I wasn’t the only one — three other customers were also turned away for the same reason. The staff were extremely rude and confrontational, especially when I pointed out the hours listed online. Instead of helping, they escalated the situation and even got into an argument with a coworker who was actually willing to help. It’s obvious this is a toxic and poorly managed location. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else — this USPS does not care about customers.
