Well this was interesting, There was a big employee with long curly hair and a hat talking about how some one told them "I'll let you hit me I'll let you hit me" I couldn't hear much else of the story but it's clear he was making the other employees very uncomfortable. This behavior is completely unprofessional.

Definitely would recommend another Staples store or another office supply store. I had just spent a good amount on a gaming PC so I was willing to spend some on a good chair and desk. I walked in and tried to ask where they might be since I probably haven't been in a Staples in over 15 years. They all kept looking over and continued talking when it was obvious I had a question. I asked where the office/gaming chairs were and was going to ask if he knew if they had one in store still that I saw online. He came at me with an attitude right away, said "they're all over there" and walked away. Eventually after some digging around I found one I was looking at. Couldn't find any desks so I went back to ask him. Again met with attitude and he said "yeah we have a whole section of them". Told him I looked and couldn't find any. And met with more smug attitude. Three small desks tucked into a corner that you probably wouldn't spot unless you knew where to look. Finally decided I'd get one elsewhere because they couldn't ship it and I couldn't get the desk and chair in my car. I go to check out and was apparently in the "wrong line". It was for Amazon returns which I didn't see a sign for. He said to stand in a line marked check out which his lane was. Overall no one really motivated to help or do much besides talk to each other. Asking for help seems like a cardinal sin. I probably would have ended up spending 1000 1500 just that night on stuff I was looking for. Just wanted to get my chair and get out. Only guy semi helpful I didn't catch his name but he was a tall Hispanic guy.

I want to commend the sales associate, John, for handling the Amazon returns on 10/24/25 exceptionally well, even when customers became upset after waiting in line for over 45 minutes. The one-star review is directed at the store manager, Kevin, who, along with four other sales associates, stood by and watched as John clearly needed assistance but did nothing to help. As a manager myself, I believe that frontline employees are the face of any company, and it is the manager's responsibility to ensure they are set up for success. While I have sourced all my department supplies from the Marysville Staples, after witnessing this situation firsthand, I will no longer shop there!
