- TTTeresa TudorFeb 15, 20191.0Every time I mail a package that is to big for the mailbox that my sister has; the carrier leaves it on the ground below the box or if it can be tied to the mailbox the carrier does that..I looked up the rules for parcels and boxes that are to big..It says the carrier is to go to the house and knock; if someone does not answer then they are able to leave the package.. So why don't the Lopez Island carrier do it.
