Sean is our mailman during the week and he goes above and beyond to deliver our mail. Our mail box was run over and hasn’t been repaired yet. So Sean hand carries our mail up 2 flights of stairs to put it on our porch. And always with a friendly smile and greeting.

They are a good post office. But what is frustrating is that they never seem to answer the phone!!

I needed to drop off a package and no one is at the front desk but there were several employees who could see me but ignored me. Apparently their conversation was more important than helping people at the desk. I ended up just calling back to them that I was leaving my package left because no one ever came forward to help us. Update: we have since had two more less than satisfactory dealings with this post office. I had a package marked as “out for delivery” for over a week and the post office wouldn’t answer their phone so I went in. When I told them the issue the man behind the counter scoffed and rolled his eyes then asked for my name. I told him and he went in the back and got my package. He said I neglected to put my apartment number on it. The label was clearly misprinted as you can see the apartment number was cut off. But, instead of leaving the package at the front office of my complex, who would know which apartment I live in, they chose to teach me a lesson (again it was clear the label was misprinted on the senders end) and keep the package. He sent me out with a condescending scolding about remembering to put my apartment number on packages as though I can control what happens on the senders end! The third incident was a package that was supposed to be delivered tomorrow (Sunday) was our for delivery today. I got a message at 7:15pm saying that the carrier was unable to reach my door to deliver and to look for a note on my door. I live on the first floor of an apartment complex that has no snow or any other obstacles obstructing delivery. There was also no note left. The carrier clearly made no attempt to deliver the package and instead of delivering it the next day, chose to mark it as undeliverable due to a fictional obstruction and now I have to contact the post office (closed Sunday) to “make arrangements for redelivery”.
