The McChord Post Office has one clerk in particular who is completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and clearly not capable of handling her job. She’s been on the phone with AirPods in while “helping” customers, rolling her eyes, and acting like any question is an inconvenience. On multiple occasions, she’s given me other people’s mail while returning my own—important government and legal documents—to the sender for no valid reason. When I tried to get answers, she made sarcastic comments about her coworkers and even asked if my 6-year-old could sign for a box that belonged to him. Who does that? I pay for my PO Box and expect competence, not chaos. Instead, I’ve wasted hours fixing mistakes caused by this location’s carelessness. There’s zero accountability, zero consistency, and absolutely no professionalism. Management needs to retrain or replace this employee because she clearly doesn’t take her job seriously and has no respect for customers. The McChord Post Office should be ashamed to have someone like that representing USPS.
