Oof! Where to begin… I went to the Issaquah Post Office to get FBI fingerprints. They had signs everywhere touting this service. When I made it to the counter I was informed that “James” is the only one who is trained in the government issued iPad looking device that they use but that most of the time he can’t get it to work. So this person assisting me doesn’t know if I should come back or not because James is away for lunch and she doesn’t know where the supervisor is. She tells me to call later to see if James thinks he can get the machine to work or not but the number she gives me is the one I called that they don’t answer and why I drove there in the first place. I don’t know since when people aren’t cross trained in a customer facing position. Minimally they should have a sign that states finger print services closed from X to Y while James is at lunch and then train others how to use the iPad to actually provide this service. I mean what would they do if God forbid James were to quit?. I mean how hard can it be to train everyone who works there!? Don’t waste your time going to this post office unless you don’t have any other option. Why bother having a post office if every time one goes there they can’t provide basic services. I also had another issue with them recently. From now on I will just make the drive to Mercer Island and hope for better trained staff.

Young man with long brown hair is the rudest customer service person I’ve ever encountered. He told me he doesn’t know how to use the self service machine.

1 employee with a line to the door is absolutely ridiculous. on top of that, the drop box was full so other customers kept interrupting to ask where to put their packages. do better
