Before we moved to Fox Island we had our mail forwarded for about ten days, we called before we moved to make sure they were holding it for us because we could not get to the tiny community mail box at the end of our road and it would not hold all the mail. The woman who answered the phone told us they were about to return ALL OF OUR MAIL until we came in with proof of our ID at our new residence! We stopped in at this PO BEFORE WE EVER GOT TO OUR NEW HOME to accommodate this demand. Yet they continue, for nearly 18 months, to deliver mail addressed to a half dozen other people, who DO NOT live at our address, stuffing our box full and then saying they cannot deliver our mail because the box is too full. We have notified them multiple times to stop delivering mail to us that does not have our name, but they just don't care and keep doing it. And there have been other issues, too saying we have a "gate" at our home, where there is NO FENCING, and they can't deliver. They have said they delivered items directly to us when they have not. And last year, they sent a notice out they they couldn't get a new delivery route to our half of the island and they didn't care if it interrupted service for us. When I wrote to the Postmaster, Teresa, asking what she was going to do with our mail, she wrote back saying she didn't know what I was talking about, yet it was her office that sent the notice! Wish I didn't have to deal with them at all!
