  About a year ago, my Bassethound/pomeranian mix passed away from old age after being hit by a tractor. When the funeral was over, I had to decide what to do. I contacted the Cincinnati zoo and they were in desperate need of high protein foods for several captive carnivores. I placed Frank in the freezer for approximately a week before bringing shipping. After running some errands, I stopped into the Ellensberg UPS store to have Frank shipped. I was greeted by the store manager, Maggie, and after a pleasant conversation, we noticed damp spot on the cardboard box Frank was placed in. Due to my lack of training in shipping frozen animals, I had not prepared the package properly. Maggie kindly advised me of several laws I could be violating and said they were unable to ship my package. I was devastated. Despite the situation, Maggie and her staff, which can only be described as outstanding, treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism.

  Maggie at the store today was very rude. I believe someone forgot their customer service skills at home. Treating people the way she did today is unacceptable! She should know better since she is the manger. No wonder all the employees seem miserable working there!

  The owner, Kelsey, went above and beyond to help me track down very valuable packages that had been sent to the wrong location. As a small business owner, I am beyond grateful!! If she hadn’t used her skill to help me get those packages, I don’t know what I would have done. 5 gold stars!!!

  Kelsey and her staff are truly amazing. We order prints often and also they don’t mind when I bring in like 8 different Amazon returns. I’ve used a lot of UPS stores over the years and I think the Ellensburg one is my favorite by far!!

  I do not recommend shipping or receiving packages through this UPS store. I had an item shipped here for pick up. It stated that it had been delivered for number of hours prior to my arrival at the store, however when I arrived the package was *mysteriously* not ready and “not in the system at all”. I had two apps (app I purchased item through and UPS website) both stating the item had been delivered hours before. So very unclear how this can be the case. The front desk woman typed my name into the computer once and pretty much said oh well you can go now. I showed her both confirmed deliveries and she said it was “delivered to the driver”. Make that make sense? The woman working the desk was quite rude both to myself and the woman in front of me. She chided the woman in front of me for not using their kiosk for returns. As summarized above, I recommend taking your business elsewhere. Perhaps support your local post office
