I want to take a moment to recognize Jennifer T. at the Des Moines USPS office on 216th. She is, without question, the best post office employee I’ve ever encountered. I come in a few times a week, and every single time, she greets everyone with a genuine smile and a level of kindness that you can feel from the back of the line. I’ve watched her handle 20 different customers in a row with patience, grace, and positivity — never once losing her upbeat attitude. Jennifer doesn’t just do her job; she truly cares about people, and it shows in every interaction. She deserves a raise, recognition, and honestly, she should be running the place. The Des Moines post office is lucky to have her, and so are we as customers. Thank you, Jennifer, for making every visit a great one.

Always a pleasure bringing in my orders for delivery. Sorry Hop Hop Hop, Jan 9th all federal offices were closed for Jimmy Carter's national day of mourning. No need to wine about it.

I LOVE this specific USPS. I work about 15mins away and have a few other options for a post office but I just love coming here. They are so quick, very friendly, and legit kind. They do the best they can when it gets busy but that's not their fault for being short staffed. Everyone right now is struggling to get/keep workers and some companies just force them to work with low staff to save on cost anyway. Having to work with so many people in a small amount of time is physically and mentally draining, which is why we should all be thankful for these wonderful people. If we all have patience, be kind to the workers and others waiting in line, time spent here won't be so bad. It'll be ok :) There are other options, but I love this one <3
