- JAJazmine AndersonDec 8, 20251.0The Amazon drivers do NOT have to put the pallets inside the Post Office. In fact, it's a LIABILITY, we dont belong to USPS or Amazon, we're 3rd party READ THE CONTRACT. I've had another Post Office tell another postal worker I was right about this. If I unload and have everything put away, palletjack included then wait another half hour for you to show up, im not going to just wait with my pallet jack lol as long as we wait WITH the pallets until your arrival, and not leaving them unattended, THAT'S the policy and Amazon, not USPS, tells us what to do. NOT TO MENTION that the Owner/Operators do get Emails reminding them that drivers should be instructed NOT to go into the inner parts of the Post Offices. We do not belong to USPS nor Amazon, we are Independent 3rd party carriers. You guys being too lazy to bring them inside is not on us, we load everything ouselves at the warehouses and have less than an hour to do so for Postal Routes (this route), it is a LIABILITY. Sure, sometimes we do, when the Post Office knows their place, policy and aren't treating us like total crap lol, but they know we should go inside. There's many Post Offices that DEMAND we leave them outside and not go in because they know the policy. I wont finish unloading a half hour before the Postal Clerks arrival and wait to BRING THEM INSIDE, lol thats insane. The other drivers are men, they don't want to hear you guys cry about it but, I can handle it Lol I will speak with ROC if this happens again, Will NOT have this argument again, I promise you that. I have delivered at this Post Office almost 4 years, I wont have it, I promise you that
