  This review is regarding interactions I had with Connor Magee, a claims agent working at the Allstate Bothell. My car was hit on 9/22 by a driver insured by Allstate. At the time of the accident the other driver verbally assumed liability and so I decided to file a claim with Allstate rather than my insurance. I called Allstate later that day and talked to Connor. He took my statement of what happened during the accident and gave me steps to get an estimate using the Allstate app. He said most likely they would be taking full responsibility and paying for my repairs once the claim was closed. On 9/26 I called Allstate to determine if the claim had been closed. They told me the claim had been closed on 9/23 and it determined that I was 90% at fault. (based on the other drivers report). From there I ended up having to file with my insurance company so they could handle the question of liability. Now this review is not for the frivolous liability claim of the other driver, this review is based on the fact that I received 0 communication from Allstate that the claim had been closed. Connor said he would call me as soon as the claim was closed and resolved. This caused me a delay to contact my insurance as well as a wasted trip to the body shop. After contacting Allstate on 9/26 and learning about the claim from another agent, she said she would have Connor call me and explain the details of the closed claim. This has not happened. Overall very poor customer service.
