I am very disappointed with my experience at this post office.
Last week, I went in to mail a package. Since I am not very familiar with the mailing process, I relied entirely on the staff’s instructions. One staff member told me to write the address directly on the box and said the cheapest option was 5–7 days for $23.75. I agreed and paid $25 in cash.He then asked me, “Are you paying 25?” in a tone that felt strange. I asked whether I needed to provide coins, and he said “it’s ok” and gave me $1.25 in change.
When I later reviewed the receipt, I discovered that it clearly shows a $6 discount and explicitly states that the correct change should have been $7.25. The receipt also lists “Clerk: 05” at the bottom. This means the change I actually received did not match what was clearly printed on the receipt.
As a customer unfamiliar with the process, I trusted the staff to handle a simple cash transaction correctly. Receiving incorrect change when the receipt clearly states the correct amount is extremely unprofessional and raises serious concerns about trust and integrity.
