The employees seem to go out of their way to work very very slowly. Misery loves company so they seem to want to make the people in line suffer while they help old people finish packing up their packages. That's not what the post office is for - it's to sell postage and accept packages, not help people tape packages thus causing long lines. They provide more passport service than they do actual postage services. It's really sad to watch people go out of their way to work as slowly as possible. An as inefficiently as possible!

I am leaving this review because what I experienced at this location was not only unacceptable customer service, but a humiliating and illogical interaction that escalated a very simple issue and wasted a significant amount of my time. I brought in a package that had made it to the customer’s town and was returned to me by their local USPS postal worker. The box had a handwritten note from USPS stating it was “identified as alcohol due to packaging” and instructed me to repackage it or take it to my post office and request a refund on the label. When I asked the clerk, Ika, about a refund on the unused label, she responded in a raised voice, “A refund on what?” Her volume was inappropriate for a one on one customer interaction and was loud enough to draw attention from the entire line and surrounding lobby. I calmly explained that the instruction was written directly on the box. Her response remained dismissive and hostile. When I stated that I simply needed to get the package shipped and was willing to pay for a new label, I held up the already printed label with the corrected address. Instead of reviewing it, she waved it away and stated loudly: “No, I will NOT be doing any of that. You’re going to go stand over there, you’re going to write it on the box, get back in line, and I’ll see you in a minute.” (“A minute” turned into approximately a 20 minute wait in line.) Handwriting an address on a box is not a USPS procedure. When purchasing postage, the standard process is for the clerk to review the address provided, enter it into the system, print a label, and have the customer verify that the address is correct. Forcing a customer to handwrite an address, especially when a printed label already exists, serves no functional purpose and introduces unnecessary risk of error. That risk became immediately apparent when another employee, Josh, who was kind and professional, expressed confusion over the handwritten information. That confusion would not have occurred had the printed label been used, as is standard procedure. I have over 15 years of customer service experience. Being direct is one thing. Being condescending, dismissive, and publicly confrontational is another. The behavior I experienced did not reflect policy enforcement and was entirely unnecessary. Josh handled the remainder of the transaction professionally and respectfully, and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, the initial interaction overshadowed the entire visit. No customer should be treated this way for asking a reasonable question and attempting to follow written USPS instructions. This interaction caused unnecessary embarrassment, wasted time, and was completely avoidable. Customer service roles require patience, professionalism, and basic respect. If that is a burden, this is the wrong position.

This place is terrible. The customer service agents are all rude and not friendly. Nobody greets you with a hello or a smile. I know their job is difficult, but this is ridiculous. They also lose packages all the time or come damaged. I think they play soccer with them. I have to go to a different post office that is much further away to make sure my items don't get lost and work with someone who is friendly.
