  $2 for a Single Sheet of Paper? Absolute Greed. A textbook bait-and-switch. Advertised as $1 per Amazon label over the phone, but in-store they demand $2 for one sheet of paper. Which is a ~20,000% markup on the actual cost of a single sheet of paper. They "didn't know what was going on" with the returns process (isn't that their entire job?) and acted completely confused about their own recorded phone message. Their short 9-to-3 weekday hours illustrate who they cater to: fogies only, not working people. Shameful retiree-town price gouging, backed by incompetent service.

  If I could give zero stars I would. I was behind an older woman who was being told the cheapest option was $100+ to ship her items and the woman behind the counter even acknowledged it was outrageous. I stepped up to let her know there is a site that you can pay for shipping ahead of time (still using UPS) and the rates are much more reasonable. The woman behind the counter then starts to shout at me saying "how dare you undermine the business I own" and instructs the older woman to ask me how I should be ashamed of undermining her business. The customer started to say that at another young woman so I had to step in and say it was me not this other random customer who had just been standing there. The "owner" proceeds to spew hate at me again and directs that customer to as well. That was the most unreal and disrespectful situation I've ever experienced.

  If you live in Anacortes, take your packages to another UPS location in the county. There are a handful of other reviews commenting on the poor customer service here. They're correct. I've waited until my third interaction in this store to post my review hoping I'd get a better experience, unfortunately it has been bad each time. This doesn't pertain to just my time at the counter but also includes observing their treatment of other customers. When staff at the front counters call for help from people working in the back room, and you can hear them scoff or groan, that should tell you enough about the work environment.

  The most efficient, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Always enjoy going here. The owners Rob and Susan, and their staff, are serious about their job and Always helpful with whatever shipping needs you have. Additionally, they are always cheerful and kind, so going here is not a chore. It's actually a pleasant experience! Grateful to have them in our town.
