- TCTim the Toolman CardwellMay 30, 20231.0Why I am forced to have a PO Box and no mailbox at my home is ridiculous!!! I have no access to my mail or packages when i want. Instead, i need to go to the counter, which is closed for hours, and hours for lunch is just government harassment Update: So it has gone from bad to worse which i didn't think possible. They closed the counter today and said were having staffing issues. So you cant even get your packages. Totally nuts how the post office can do as it pleases. And anyone who thinks going to the post office daily to get your mail is great service has never lived someplace that actually delivers the mail like they are paid to do. This is just another way to stick it to the people. Think of it like this how much fuel is burned by 1000 people driving 2 miles extra a day compared to 1 person ( postal employee) delivering a 10 mile route. How much is it unnecessarily hurting our environment. And how much is every one spending to drive 2 extra mile s 350 days a year. Thats 700miles x 1000 people is a lot of fuel being used so the post office can save a buck. Its unamerican.

I lost both of my keys and every time I have been their to get my mail. Their is always someone their to help me get it. It's cheap to be able to get a replacement key. $12.00 a Piece. I thought it would be expensive. I learned my lesson on that.
