- JSJessica StephensJan 14, 20251.0I’ve lived in the same apartment for three years, and every year I have had to physically go in to the office and fill out a no change permanent address form because, for some reason they can’t explain, they decide I have moved and left no forwarding address. All of my pertinent mail ends up sent back to senders, such as government documents, bills, etc, and they make me come back in. Then they try to tell me I must’ve moved and forgotten to fill it out, or that I went on vacation and filled out a form mistakenly, something non sensical, to which I reply; no, I’ve lived here all this time, never taken a vacation, never paused postal service, and there has never been any action on my part to warrant considering me moved with no forwarding address. I’m still right here. And of course when this happens, I can’t do an online COA bc the old address and new address is the same and the online form won’t let me. I can’t call the 800 number bc they tell me just to go in, I can’t call the local office bc it’s the p.o. And no one answers. So I have to take valuable time out of my day to go deal with people who tell me it must be something I’ve done instead of somebody incompetent on their end messing up, to once again renew my annual “yes I exist” form. It’s incredibly stupid, insulting, and a gross waste of my time. If I could give this location 0 stars, I would.
