We went to staples todays and we were helped by a tall heavy set employee . Did not catch his name , but he needs to find a job where he doesn't have to deal with people. We were bringing back a charger that didn't work he yelled at us and basically called us stupid .In the past we did alot of shopping there but not anymore. I have never been talked to so badly by an employee at a store before.

When bricks and mortar stores are falling like the snowflakes outside, it's great to be able to go to Staples and always find exactly what I am looking for. Their customer service is great, and I appreciate how hard they all work!

Helpful staff. And I want to win the money for the food shelf I run.

I stopped in to make an Amazon return with a single box (around 16x16 - so larger than usually probably but not overwhelmingly large) today, and from the moment I walked in, I was treated with surprising bitterness.
There were five customers ahead of me in line, and as soon as the front clerk saw me walk in carrying the box, he noticeably rolled his eyes and sighed loudly enough that everyone else in line looked at me. I tried to shake it off, but as each customer moved through the line, I saw a pattern: he would act frustrated but still managed to greet them politely, saying things like “How are you doing?” and “Have a good day.”
But when it was my turn, the tone changed completely. He did not say a single word to me. Instead, he groaned and moaned clearly within earshot and complained to a coworker while handling my return. There was no greeting, no “thank you,” nothing. When he finished, he simply handed me the slip and immediately turned to the customer behind me to ask how he could help them.
I was stunned—not only by the lack of basic courtesy but by how differently I was treated compared to every other customer before me. I initially assumed maybe the size of the return was an issue, but I now feel that I was singled out for being Asian. I was never rude. I was simply there to make a return, yet somehow ended up being treated as an inconvenience or worse.
I understand that working in customer service can be stressful, and everyone has bad days, but there is no excuse for singling out a customer and making them feel unwelcome, uncomfortable, and disrespected. I left feeling shaken and completely unwelcome. I will not be returning to this Staples location.
