- FFFast Walk to FresnoJul 11, 20201.0The Quechee post office doesn't deliver to the majority of the town so most people need to have a PO box to receive any mail at all. The post office is only open from 8:30-5:00 M-F and closes from 11:30-1:30. So, if you work any kind of normal hours, it's impossible to pick up your mail. Even if you work in the area, you can't pick it up at lunch because of the two-hour break they take. So, the only time you can pick up your mail is Saturday morning, and then you often get lectured about not picking up your packages more often. It's like something out of an absurd movie. By far the worst post office I've ever dealt with.

- ZPZamir PaleyMay 7, 20191.0My girlfriend and I try to pick up our mail as consistently as possible, but we only have one car and I work from 8am to 7am 5 -6 days a week and to top it all off I just became a father. The post office called and said that I had packages waiting for me that had been therefor days but no one bortherd to call and let me know untill they where about to be sent back. When I asked why I hadn't been notified, I was told that attempts had been made to contact me which my cell phone with caller ID has no record of. When my girlfriend and her sister went to go pick up the mail they where rudely lectured and told that we need to make more of a effort to come down. When I went down the same day the same worker that treated my girlfriend so poorly started to give me the same lecture but then decided against it. I thought it would be nice and convenient to not have to drive to another town to get my mail, I was wrong. The service that I have received has been horrible and I do not feel welcome at the post office I will be going to another post office in another town.

Then when I finally am able to match my time with their hours, the staff is rude and lectures me like a 2 year old about being more timely in my package pick-up. They play heavy metal type music that blares into the lobby. I also have to put my physical and PO Box on every order I place online - this is because you never know what companies are using the mail or UPS/FEDEX. An example: I ordered 3 items from amazon. Two of them came to my house by ups, the third item went to my mailbox...you just never know....and god forbid the mailer forgets to put down the information right, cause that will earn you another lecture! I get lectures every time I end up at the counter so I try to never order anything that might be delivered there...very snippy people, the women are unhappy and always seem bothered to process transactions. The guy there is over the top hyper and happy which is great if you want Elmo on speed waiting on you. Simply put, this place is a joke!
- CCChristopherAug 1, 20165.0Friendly service. Be aware that they close at lunch time from 11:30am until 1:30 pm. You can still access the p.o. boxes as well as the drop-off boxes, but if you need customer service you will have to wait until they are back from break!
