- VBVermont Bee BalmAug 30, 20171.0Twice I have been frustrated by Jim's refusal to put my tracking numbers on the back of my receipt, with the names of the person/business receiving the package written next to the number, in addition to the cost of each mailing. This occurred at the Craftsbury Common, VT post office, where he regularly fills in for the postmaster. The post office there does not have computer receipts, therefore it is imperative that my tracking numbers are properly identified so I can enter them into my PayPal tracking system when I return home. KellyAnn always does this for me, happily I might add. The Craftsbury village post office where she works has different hours, so every so often I go to the one on the Common. My second dealing with Jim was so upsetting. I spend over $3000.00 a year at the post office, I mail lots of packages. He treated me so rudely, refusing to put my tracking numbers in order with the names next to them, etc. He said he was not required to do so, and I asked him where in the policy book of USPS it said that a postmaster must not do this. He said I would come back at him if he put the wrong name next to a number. This is utter baloney, I have never had anyone ( I have stood in front of many able-minded subs before at the post office window) mess up name/numbers, and I would never blame someone for an honest mistake. When he recognized me my second dealing with him, his hackles went up immediately. I couldn't understand it, I had just watched him having a completely nice interaction with the previous customer. Perhaps he doesn't like it when women are involved in business, I have dealt with men before who have a problem with women being in business. This problem needs to be addressed, we have many business women in Craftsbury, Vermont.
