- RBR BAug 29, 20251.0I called earlier and asked if they knew where I could take a phone with a very swollen battery that needed to be disposed of. They said I could bring it in and they'd recycle it for me. I came in and the guy at the counter said he had a couple of other ladies to help and then he'd come help me. I proceeded to stand there for a solid twenty minutes at least while he helped person after person that came in after me and ignored me completely. Finally a manager came out and asked what I needed and when I showed him the phone he said they don't do that there and that he couldn't take it because of the swollen battery. I said that I had specifically brought up the battery to the person on the phone and they said they did, and he just said that person was wrong. Thanks staples. You won't see me again.
