Worsed postal experience since I've lived here. I get it there's slip ups from time to time but this is ridiculous 🙄

- RWRose WolfeOct 15, 20193.0Today I was at P.O. to return a package to VT Country Store which I was refusing and wanted to return to sender. The package had "never been opened," yet the postal worker at the window threw a lot questions at me. He first stated that VCS doesn't tape their packages the way it was taped. Obviously they do because I never opened it. He wanted to know why I was returning the item. Told him wrong color. Question. If you didn't open it "how do know it is the wrong color?" Ans: because they invoiced me via email. I was so surprised that his interrogation threw me off. I actually changed my mind about color after ordering but VCS told me it was too late to cancel and to reorder color I want and just refuse the package when it arrives. That is what I did. Now, if they want to confirm this, VCS has noted this in their records on my orders. Told the guy at the counter that a replacement is coming on Thursday and I will bring in to show him the packaging. There was a woman behind him and it looked like he was being reviewed. She had a clipboard and was checking things off. Was he being overzealous in his interrogation-type questioning to impress her? Or, just showing off!!!!! In any event, I found it intimidating that he thought I was lying. Actually, I was really ticked off!!!!! I never opened that package and was returning it exactly as I received it!!!!!!!
