  0 stars! If you are a business, I would not use Arehart Associates! We used Arehart for 7 years and after deciding to go to another local firm, it is reported that our Corp tax returns have been filed wrong for YEARS! Secondly Arehart charged us $2000-2400 to file our 1120s (each year) of which other firms charge around $800-1000. A small business to taking advantage of another small business is despicable. I am beyond upset they took us for at least $7000! Plus they charged me $850 to do my personal taxes where, again, the other firm charged me $389. Over priced for incompetent work! EDIT: Fees were not for on going assistance, as I have been billed for every question I've ever asked, even if it was to question the accountant on their work, I was billed. Plus the fees were every year, so not every two years! Moreover, the answers I got to most questions were copied from IRS or Google Search of which I can do myself. The services were not tailored to my Scorp business. Someone there should be knowledgeable SCorp benefits, if you are going to file SCorp Tax returns!! This is the sole reason I switched firms, and very thankful I did. The obscene amount of GJE I had to import from the my current accountant to "match tax returns"(going back to 2020), tells me the work was not properly done. No discussion will resolve this unless you want to give me back the over charges I've paid through the years. When Bernie was there, things were different. I should have changed firms when he retired!

  Arehart has been doing all my accounting and financial needs for 15 years. I am always greeted with an inviting smile. The staff Is always helpful and available to answer all my questions.

  I have been working with Jan Hoover and her direct assistant Deanna Bratcher to file my taxes for almost a decade now. They are the best! I have relatively complicated tax returns and they always handle them quickly and professionally. There have been many occasions where I have been late to get them my tax return information, but every time, they have still been able to get my returns filed promptly and properly. Their rates are extremely competitive and they are the best value I've seen out there. But most importantly... they are just good people. Jan and Deanna are both very knowledgeable of the ever changing tax code. I can recall numerous occasions where they have saved me money via there knowledge and their advice. They have always been super responsive to my questions and concerns. I've always felt very valued as a client. Even though I moved out of the area years ago... I continue to work with them. There is no one I trust more with my tax and financial information!

  I have been doing business with Arehart Associates for over a year now and could not be happier with the experience that I have had. I normally work with Amber and she is nothing short from amazing! She is excellent in communication and will send detailed emails with any questions regarding the books. I am so happy to finally find a great accounting firm that handles our books and taxes.
