- JVJ in VAAug 22, 20251.0They deserve 0 stars. From the postmaster to the counter staff to the carriers, no one gives a hoot. All lack empathy, all lack a desired to do an adequate job and act as if the customer is an inconvenience. Packages are frequently lost, not delivered or get damaged. I purposely go to the neighboring post office whenever possible to avoid this cess pool of a location.

FrazierFeb 6, 20211.0It’s Saturday 6:00p.m getting dark, snowstorm expected, just happen to be by front window and notice there is a mail vehicle at the mailboxes and when they pull away there appears to be a box at the foot of the mailbox, REALLY! Why would they do this, mail service for the day has already been done and if we hadn’t been by the window we would not have discovered this perhaps until Monday. It’s bad enough that it took 6 weeks in December for some of our mail to be delivered, one of those being a payment, which was counted as late, thank you post office! What is happening to the postal system!!!!!!

The woman was argumentative and absolutely certain the package wasn't there. Had to wait in the troutville park till Monday, spoke to another postman who said the package was there 3 days before Saturday. Not sure what that was all about. I also had a letter sent from a family member, that had hold for thru hiker written on it, that went missing and never showed up. I have a strong feeling that letter was stolen as it contained several hundred dollars in cash. I would be wary of using this post office if your a thru hiker.
