- PPpurpleroses purpleroses4 days ago1.0Do not expect your mail to be delivered on time, or at any given time, or AT ALL. They seem to deliver mail when they feel like it. They average about 4 days a week. Definitely not all 6 days. EVER. And if you are depending on receiving mail in order to get to the bank or any business done, then you're a fool. If you have the gallon to actually GO to the Sterling post office,, know that you'll be interrupting their day and you'll know about it. The attitude you get is horrendous.

I posted my 2024 Virginia state tax documents in April before tax season ended, at this branch but it never got delivered. This branch denied me filing my 2024 tax not because I didn't file but because they didn't send it to IRS. People beware! Use Reston post office instead even if you live in sterling.
