- CNcarissa norrisAug 25, 20231.0I miss Postman Dan! It was always nice to go in and see his smiling face. He was always nice and helpful even when I could tell he was having a bad day. I cannot stand going to the post office now. The 2 people who work there are very unpleasant. My first interaction with the new guy was him tossing my package marked fragile into the bin 3 feet behind him. USPS lost a great employee when Dan retired.

I’ve had to pay late fees for invoices I couldn’t get out of my box in time. And I’ve ordered things to take with me on a trip, and they arrived and I wasn’t able to get in the building to pick them up before I had to leave to go out of town. I got a post office box, because I have rotating shifts at work and I wanted my mail to be protected. Now it’s safe from everyone, even I can’t get access to it. Very frustrating!
