If I could give our Staunton Branch of the U.S. Postal Service 10 stars I would !!! I’m honestly surprised to see the negative comments about our local post office because my experience over the years has been consistently positive. Mail delivery to my home has been above and beyond, and the service inside the branch is always professional, efficient, and friendly. (And I love their holiday spirit!). Refreshingly wonderful especially after the experiences we've had in other towns and large cities.
Brandy, Mindy, John, Robby, Trey, and the rest of the team have been familiar faces in our community for years. They remain helpful and upbeat, even when dealing with frustrated customers or delays that are clearly outside of their control. I’ve especially appreciated the small-town feel of seeing familiar delivery folks around town, including several who previously delivered in my neighborhood.
Like any system, there are occasional mail delays (and we all know regional distribution centers can create tracking headaches), but the local branch staff has always done their best to assist when questions arise.
If I could change one thing though, it would be the parking lot flow - cars parked at the very front sometimes block incoming traffic. That said, that’s more about design and patron driver courtesy than the staff themselves.
I’m grateful for this team and wanted to share appreciation to help balance the narrative. Thank you all for the years of dependable service! 💌

Have tried calling and calling post office and they don't answer their phones. Had a notice that they tried to deliver a package but couldn't because of access, funny but FedEx had no trouble delivering packages on Wednesday. When ever you go there to speak or if they ever FINALLY answer their phone all you get is excuses. We have not had mail all week, I can understand the first few days but now its just beyond ridiculous that we have not gotten our mail.

Consistently getting other people's mail that is NOT mine. Imagine having a state job with such decent pay and you cant even deliver mail to the correct house with easily visible numbers. How ridiculous. I as a delivery driver, can get someone's house correctly on the first try and I make significantly less. Crazy work. Yall have got to DO BETTER. This goes for ALL postal companies. (although yes, some of you residents NEED to have better numbers on your homes that are easily readable somewhere.)

The mailman constantly blasts his music loud in our neighborhood. I've never had a mailman act this way. He's unprofessional and a supreme narcissist who has no regard for anyone but himself.
