- UUUnasianFeb 9, 20261.0Lived in Springfield since the 80s and this is one of the worse Post Office around. I call it the Lazy Post Office. If you drop off your package into that drop box, don't expect it to be shipped out until the NEXT day, even if you drop it off well before 5 p.m. It won't get scanned to the Merrifield location until next day, so you will lose 1 day of shipment. You're better off driving to Merrifield to drop off packages if you want it out the same day. For their drop off box machine, the handle has been broken for years and they don't even fix it. This is a violation against handicap people.
