- JJJMWFeb 13, 20261.0This has to be one of the worst post offices ever. To this date I’m missing so many tax documents including 3 social security 1099’s since my two in-laws live with me. How can any business be so bad. We don’t even get daily deliveries! The social security 1099’s were sent out weeks ago, everyone I know who aren’t serviced by the Hollins post office have received theirs! It’s so frustrating because they don’t care and nothing is ever done!
- SRStacy RhodesJan 21, 20261.0I can't get to the Hollins PO between their hours of 8-4 because I am at work. I have called 78 times since December 2 trying to get a replacement key for my mailbox. The phone has been answered once on December 4. The lady who answered told ne she would find out what I needed to do. About a week and a half later she called me back and said my lock would be replaced and they would let me know how to get the key. It's January 21 and I have heard nothing. I was told to put my mail on hold so my box wouldn't fill up. I need my mail and would like to be able to talk to a person. 78 calls and only 1 answer is crazy! What do I do?
- MWMark WheelerNov 12, 20225.0We need to thank our Federal employees, many of them are veterans. My dad was a postal clerk in Hot Springs VA then postmaster in Warm Springs VA many years ago. Postal workers have a tough job trying to get the mail to us in a timely fashion. Their routes are timed and they're accountable for taking too long. You think your job is demanding - they really have a lot of pressure to get things done!
