It is always a pleasure to go to the post office. With their strict adherence to statutory requirements and familiarity with digital systems - they are an outlier in the commonwealth's current administrative system. When no one else is there for you, the post office will be.

Literally the most unhelpful people I’ve ever encountered, will give you misinformation and then act like is your fault when you didn’t meet standards

Not that usps gives a crap what we think, but at least writing about it is making me feel a little bit better. USPS did not deliver a very important package of mine because of some obscure rule that’s not written anywhere in the office or on any paperwork I’ve seen. In fact, the note that I got with the package when it was returned, said to bring it into the office to ask for a refund. The extremely rude woman at the counter told me that that is incorrect, and that I have to file online… I combed the online resources, and everything I found sent me into the store. *** the issue was that I recycled a box, and even though it was crossed off, the word, José Cuervo was written on the box. Apparently USPS does not like recycling liquor boxes. I would totally understand if the rule was actually written down on the posters that I consulted before recycling this box. It is not. It’s one of those “secret” rules. In fact, I challenge anyone to find this written down anywhere.

This is probably the worst USPS location I have ever had the displeasure of being unfortunately located near. This location takes longer than usual to deliver mail. They will mark it out for delivery when it is not in their possession. They continuously push back delivery time to days after promised. I came in person to this location to get my "out for delivery" mail. I explained that I have a letter to take to the banks before they close. I was told they have it in their possession but will not allow me to retrieve it. I was lackadaisically told to wait until the 9pm delivery time. Whoever is the postmaster for this location needs to take the time to retrain every individual staffed at this location or just close it's doors if customer service is not one of their priorities here. The service provided at this location is absolutely abhorrent.

If you can, have mail directed to anywhere but here. I Was finally able to get out of my parking lot today and drove to the post office. Why? Because usps had just sent me a text message stating I could pick up my package. The message also included a deadline that the package must be picked up by or it would be returned to center. I was greeted by two people who make Comcast’s customer service look like the elite. Nothing but attitude from the beginning then I was told I was a liar because usps doesn’t send out the messages so I must have misread. So a liar or dumb. Then when I showed them the message that their company sent out, the replied “oh, well we have 72 hours to get everything out and we will not be searching for your package have a nice day” along with some laughter and stuff said under their voice. When I matched the level of respect that I was being given then suddenly it was a problem for them. These two are is desperate need of customer service training. As someone who does this for a living I’m more than happy to come teach a class for free.
