- ISIsaac Sweeney1 day ago5.0I don't trust anyone who says they filled out paperwork (for holding mail, etc.) but can't spell or use grammar in these simple reviews. It makes me think they didn't fill out the paperwork correctly. I also see reviews about mail not being delivered but then there are wishes of Merry Christmas or the date is listed as January. People should realize the amount of mail at the post office starting in late October and going until spring. Sometimes there's a delay because mail carriers are human and they need to sleep. Sometimes they work 16 or so hours a day that time of year, six or seven days a week, and there's still more mail than they can deliver. And it's not as easy as hiring new people because it's an institution that has federal government red tape. Keep in mind that the USPS delivers Amazon packages and UPS packages as well as their own. So if you got your Amazon stuff, you might want to thank your USPS mail carrier. If you got your item from Target, there's a strong chance a USPS mail carrier brought it. Additionally, writing "do not bend" or "fragile" on a package might help protect the items in the package, but it's not a guarantee. If the items should not be bent, they should be in packaging that doesn't bend. If the items are fragile, they should be in packaging that prevents them from getting broken. It just seems like people expect a lot and then complain if a stamp goes up by two cents. I guarantee mail carriers are doing the best they can with the available resources.
