  I am new to the area, the issue I am having is partially my own fault I will admit. When I moved to Gwynns Island I wrote the wrong zip code down on some billing info & an online account with a former employer i still have a customer account with. I wrote the zip as Gwynn 23066 which is apparently down the road a ways. My area code should be Hudgins 23076. I was notified to change it but chose to ignore the issue considering the fact I am receiving other people's mail on a daily basis. Some are for my downstairs neighbors because house is converted to 2 apartments. I am the top story. However we have separate driveways and mailboxes and different last names. My mailbox has my last name, address and apartment B. painted in big bright red letters that can be seen very easily from a distance which leaves me questioning why it has been such an issue to put the mail in the correct box. I don't mind walking it over to them because we are friends but the postal service has been notified of this more then once. On top of that I have received mail for residents with completely different addresses & names with no similarities to mine. One name and address on a letter was located several miles from mine with no similarities to anything of my address or name which I think the carrier came back and grabbed because it disappeared. Today I took several letters back to this office. One was for a man whose name started with a B assigned to a P.O. lockbox but carrier had written in ink pen my address and to change zip code on the letter. There was no zip code or home address originally printed on the letter to begin with considering it was for a P.O. box. When I showed this to the postal worker I was asked with an unfriendly attitude why I had possession of this letter when it was for a P.O box with a different name. Also was questioned about the ink pen writting done by her carriers. I then stated I did not know who wrote my address on it or why or why I received it. I proceeded to hand her several other letters addressed correctly but are former residents of my apartment which is an honest mistake on that former residents end not changing their address. The worker then stated I was not supposed to bring the mail by hand but simply leave flag up and write "return to sender former resident". I understood the issue on that part. I then asked about my own mail because I had stopped receiving it. I was then told it was all being returned to sender and I would have to sort the issue out my self by notifying senders of the correct zip codes. My own fault for ignoring the request made multiple times by the postal service to change my zip code to the correct one. However I looked at it as a silly request considering the carriers & sorters are already not reading names/addresses correctly if they're bothering to read them at all when delivering proven by me receiving mail not for my home address or name.

  If you want your packages be there at Mathews office before delivery goes out. Three things are possible. You will be advised to pick up at post office, The package will be delivered to wrong address or package just seems to disappear. Now you have to contact seller and explain this. Who do you think they believe. USPS means you spend unnecessary time looking for what you have spent money on again and again. Zero stars in my book

  Our local Postmaster Zack Hudgins at the Hudgins post office is very helpful and always great you with a smile.

  I do not get my mail!!!! My billing companies keep telling me they are getting return to sender.
