I pay for a PO Box here because USPS won't deliver to my house in Indian valley. It's not clear why. At least 50% of the month there's no one working here during their hours, which are right smack dab in the middle of your workday. They lock my packages up in the office and there's no one there to hand them to me. But they MARK THEM DELIVERED in the system, so that they don't receive penalties for not delivering my packages. (sometimes it's been so long since someone has worked there that the system automatically schedules the packages to be returned. Two weeks or so.) Sometimes weeks go by and a very important package is waiting there for me. I have repeatedly told them to leave packages in the lobby to no avail. It's a total disaster. I have to work most days anyway, so no, I can't be there exactly at noon. To provide an example, I ordered a piece of metal I need to operate my wood stove. It arrived ten days ago. I have called them, visited during open hours three times after the package said it was delivered. I've called Willis. I've called floyd. Nobody at USPS takes accountability. They don't care that I don't have heat in the dead of winter. It's the most frustrating thing ever. Maybe I should set up camp in their lobby. I know someone goes there sometimes because I see notes I leave for them ripped up in the lobby. Lol. So they read my notes and ignore them.
