I’ve always tried to stay patient when dealing with customer service, but my recent visits to this FedEx location left me absolutely flabbergasted. I had a simple task: return a package. Simple, right? Apparently not. The store manager seemed to have a personal vendetta against basic customer service. She informed me that the box I was returning was “improperly packaged” and that I could either buy tape from them or pay $20–$30 to have it repackaged—all just to send a refund back. Keep in mind, I only needed a couple pieces of tape. She insisted it would be “more than a couple.” I left, dumbfounded, re-taped my box at home, and returned. This time, I worked with a different employee, a young man whose idea of customer service was a breath of fresh air. He calmly offered me some tape, didn’t try to nickel-and-dime me, and simply asked if I could tape up the sides a little more so the package would ship safely. That’s it. No drama, no unnecessary charges, no condescension. It’s incredible to me that the store manager is in charge. If it were up to me, I would promote her employee immediately and either put her behind a door where she doesn’t interact with the public—or let her retire from customer service entirely. This isn’t my first frustrating encounter with her, and honestly, I go out of my way to avoid this location just because of her attitude. FedEx, please, do better. Nine times out of ten, I’d rather go to UPS—they actually know how to talk to people. And let’s not even get into the fact that the manager insisted on calling me “sir” the entire time, despite me clearly being a woman. That’s a conversation for another day, but it’s part of the overall experience. Customer service isn’t just a title—it’s a practice. And at this location, it’s painfully inconsistent.

Folding machine did poor job and they didn't know when it would be repaired.

Went here to ship a small package. Kid manning the register kept asking what was in it, and I foolishly told him the truth, that it was a firearm part (NOT a gun, just an inert component). Kid freaked out, called his semi-literate assistant manager, who had no idea what to do. AM flipped through some training manual, said they couldn't ship gun parts because they fell under the category of "firearms". Showed me the book, which clearly stated that they *could* treat firearm parts like any other regular shipment. Had a long discussion with him, didn't matter, he couldn't understand the instructions, despite them being in simple English. Complete incompetence and a waste of my time.
