I had an appointment for a passport visit for weeks scheduled. I show up with this lovely notice on the door. They email and ask you to notify them if you need to cancel your appointment but no one reaches out to let me know that I needed to reschedule. An email would be nice.

I’ve always had a great experience at this post office. The staff is polite, helpful, and patient — even when the line gets long. As someone who runs a local business (Let’s Party – we do kids’ entertainment across Virginia), I ship things regularly and really appreciate how understanding and professional the team is. Thank you for your excellent service!

If you can't deliver the envelope to the recipient's home, then don't bring it. Hang a note on his door saying that his envelope is at the post office. Let him come and pick up the letter himself. My letter has traveled a long way from Ukraine to the United States. It didn't get lost in Ukraine, where there is a war, it didn't disappear in Europe, having crossed several countries and borders, it didn't drown in the Atlantic Ocean. It got to Richmond without getting lost on the roads of the East Coast. But it got lost at the post office on Patterson Avenue. And no one can find it. And it's not surprising. Because this office is in terrible disarray. You can lose anything you want there. I was sent an important document from Ukraine. I am already depressed because of the war in my country. And who will pay me for at least the moral damage that the sloppy post office caused me?
