Customers BEWARE! If you are a person of color be prepared to get discriminated against, saw the fb group post of how racist the new postmaster is, apparently even called the cops on a black VETERAN and even made false allegations. Went in to buy some stamps just to see if it was true and ms. Lady was beyond rude and racist. She should be ashamed of herself! It’s 2025! How the post office hires people that are racist with zero communications skills or how to problem solve is beyond me.

I stumbled upon the Hartwood Post Office by accident today...I was actually on my way to the Post Office on Warrenton Road on Rt. 17. Boy am I glad I stopped in!
The Hartwood Post Office looks very small from the outside and inside was no bigger. I loved the feel of this tiny Post Office though. From the moment I walked in, I didn't feel like I was bothering anyone and was greeted with smiles from both Post Office workers. I can't say that for any other Post Office in Stafford County unfortunately.
I was sending a package to an APO and I had no clue I had to fill out paperwork for it. They walked me through filling out the paper and answered any questions I had regarding the package. Again, I didn't feel rushed or like I was ruinning their day by being there.
After the package had its postage and technically I was all finished, we all just got to talking. I must have stayed an extra 20mins just chatting with the two wonderful women who work there. It's also amazing who you run into at the Post Office!
I for sure will visit this post office frequently and highly recommend stopping in...even if it's just to say hi to the ladies behind the desk.
Thank you for the most pleasant experience ever at a Post Office😍
