A fantastic small post office. The associate was very friendly and super knowledgeable, helping me pick out stamps that would be of interest to my grandson. It reminded me of my small tiwn, childhood post office. Thank you!

Had a postal worker so terrified of our Great Pyrenees dogs we had to move our mail box down the road.

This used to be a great post office for package delivery to my apartment, but in the last few weeks, packages have been becoming increasing late. My package would arrive at Gordonsville from Richmond around the same time as it has for the last 5 years, around 7am, but 4 out of my last 5 packages arrived one or two days late. I currently have 2 packages in this case. I don't know if its a new package handler or process, but it is failing to deliver at the correct day.
**EDIT** Another package arrived at Gordonsville, and was sent to some completely different Post Office far away... like what is the deal?

They said they won't deliver unless it's within 1/2 mile of the post office. But they sure are happy to take payment for the delivery!!

I paid $17-58 to post a Restricted Delivery letter from Burgaw N.C. to an address in Gordonsville Va.
The letter was to be received by the addressee ONLY——nobody else was to accept the letter.
I got a card back saying that the letter was signed for and given to another person!
I go to my local post office and explained everything and said bring the receipt and we’ll refund you.
I got back $7-90 because she said I still had to pay for the Restricted Delivery!
The Gordonsville mailman who didn’t do his job properly has cost me $10 and caused me a whole heap of problems.
