- GDgeneva dooresJul 5, 20251.0Mail carrier is careless when delivering packages I have had thing SHOVED in the mailbox and damaged the mail box stuff to the point with packages that don't fit that they have to leave the flap open. Could just leave a slip so we can pick it up instead of damaging our items truly careless.

This second time it was barely even sprinkling and the woman pulled up when I looked out the window so I got my shoes on and walked out to get the package only to see her drive off and wasn't even at my mailbox for a couple of seconds with a note already ready to go and I know it should have taken longer to write the note out bc I was already at my door waiting for the package and took me 1 second to slide my shoes on only to walk out and see her drive off. My drive way pulls right up to my front porch.

- BCB CollegeMay 19, 20201.0There is a thief in the Goochland County, VA mail delivery system. A few weeks ago, I sent a gift card to my mother and it was stolen. She received the birthday card but the actual gift card worth $45 was stolen (Olive Garden gift card). When she received it, the card was opened and the flap was tucked in (I had carefully taped it closed) and the card was missing. It took 4 days for her to receive the card. When she received it, it did not have a postmark on it. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I am filing a police report as it is impossible to get a hold of anyone in the post office to report the matter.
