I’ve always liked this post office and come here often to ship items for my small business — most of the staff, especially the absolutely amazing Larissa, are friendly and helpful and it’s usually a wonderful experience and I noticed that it’s that way for everyone who comes in. But today, one clerk handled a situation in a way that was really upsetting. She accused me of cutting up a USPS Priority Mail label to use on my package and said I’d have to pay the Priority rate. That wasn’t true — the label wasn’t from USPS at all. There are hundreds of commercial labels that look similar, and there’s no way she could’ve known where It was a full on mine came from. Instead of asking a question, she made a public accusation in front of other people there, and even went so far as to explain how some priority mail stickers have priority mail written all across the stickers to prevent people using them for other purposes. It was a full on scolding lecture, which was humiliating, where she basically accused me of thief! I won’t be returning to this post office because of what I consider the completely unhinged behavior of the clerk I had to deal with, but I hope management addresses this so no other customer has to experience being dressed down like that. I was on a 30 minute lunch break. I didn’t have time to argue my point with her and I was completely shocked by that behavior, so I went out to my car where I had some tape and some paper to affix another label onto my original label to get my package shipped.

  I have been going to this location for over a decade. They are very friendly. I had 1 incident, reported it and problem was solved. Kudos to the customer service that they provide!

  Post office states it closes at 11am on Saturday but doors were locked at 10:55am. This has to be the worst post office for customer service. Prefer to drive to Staunton or Waynesboro than go to the one closest to my house

  This Post Office has super friendly staff. Love coming to this location, because the lady is so uplifting!!

  I love my local USPS. The ladies working the front desk are always super helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to help you and never make you feel like a pain in the rear. I highly recommend going there and avoiding bigger locations.
