- DNDeez NMar 18, 20261.0I had an extremely frustrating and honestly concerning experience at the UPS Store on Nutley Street. I went in today regarding a mailbox that I know I had set up. Not only did I previously receive mail there, but I physically opened the box myself and saw a notice inside stating that a service fee was due. I even took a photo of it as proof. On top of that, I had already received packages at that location — the staff literally handed me one of my items. However, when I tried to address the situation, I was told something completely different. The employee claimed that I never had a mailbox there at all, that no account existed, and that no information was ever taken from me. That is simply not true. It gets worse — at first, they refused to give me my mail, saying I had no box. Only after I pushed back and said I would report the situation did they suddenly hand over my mail anyway. That alone proves there was an account or at least mail assigned to me. This felt like a complete cover-up and total lack of accountability. You can’t tell a customer they don’t exist in your system, deny access to their mail, and then magically produce that same mail minutes later. The entire experience was disorganized, inconsistent, and unprofessional. Customers rely on mailbox services for secure and reliable handling of their mail — this situation completely broke that trust. I would strongly advise others to think twice before using this location for mailbox services. Keep your documentation, take photos, and protect yourself — because clearly their internal records and communication cannot be relied upon.
