- NMN MNov 29, 20231.0It’s sad when I can’t even get a package at post office because they are closed! Then the sign says to “ Utilize the Shawsville post office”. Um sure, I guess I can Magically pick up my stuff there.
- JNJames NorthernJun 17, 20202.0I don’t know what it is with whoever delivers to the Montgomery County side of Bradshaw Rd, but I sure don’t want to see “gate closed” on a missed delivery slip when our gate was wide open, I was able to drive through just fine, and there was already another package delivered at our door. This is ridiculous. Either get someone who can do their job or stick whoever delivers here on a different route.

It is not open 24 hours a day and you will probably not stand in line. It does not have the convenience of the post office on the corner. What it does have is any and all of the supplies you may need and an extremely friendly, helpful staff. The carriers are nice and know all the people in their areas. The staff in the post office will definitely go the extra mile for you. The best part is the attitude of pleasantness, happiness and helpfulness....not what has become the USPS "postal worker" joke. At the Elliston post office you feel like you have moved back in time to a happier, more pleasant place. I love it. I would love to have access during more hours but one does not get everything. Besides, the attitude there is worth the trade off.
