This is a terrible post office. They are too lazy to get out of their vehicles at times; they'll actually blow the horn for you to come out! They mark packages as delivered and they don't come until the next day, if at all. I use the online mail tracker and it shows what is to be delivered that day. Well, they only deliver some of it the day it is too be delivered! You can't call them because it's a 1800 number and you talk to an AI bot and stay on hold for long periods of time.

I gave the Eagle Rock VA post office 1 star only because there is not a ZERO star!! My parents have never had a mail box at there residence in Eagle Rock...they have received there mail at the post office in Clifton Forge for over 70 years. With that being said, I recently lost my mother in Feb and numerous people said that sent sympathy cards to our residential address because that was the address where she passed away and printed in the obit. We just got word that the life insurance check was mailed there as well due to an error at the funeral home. My point is WHY doesn't the Eagle Rock post office return to sender. What happens to mail sent there? It is a Federal offense to tamper or throw away other people's mail. Worst post office ever is exactly WHY we do not want them handling our mail.
