I tried changing my address last month, unfortunately I lost my ID. So I took my birth certificate and the DMV temporary ID to the office since they need identification for address change. They denied it so I patiently waited for my ID to arrive, when it did I took it to this office and the lady working stated at me with a blank face and proceeded to tell me I “needed to check with chesterfield” as if that even makes sense, not to mention this post office is located in CHESTERFIELD.

Rating used to be a 5. For some reason our mail carrier doesn't seem to want to get out of her truck to deliver our packages anymore. We do not have any loose dogs in the yard, though we do have a big white turkey who's not aggressive, and rarely around, she wanders the entire yard. I don't care if the mail carrier leaves the packages on the driveway just so she leaves them here. I have a disabled husband (with cancer) whom I can't leave alone long enough to go to the post office, so I have to drag him along with me. And he's miserable the whole time. BESIDES THAT, I'M TIRED OF DOING HER JOB FOR HER. She's supposed to deliver, not me go get. Defeats the purpose of ordering online and having HOME DELIVERY. We're up to about 6 times now my stuff hasn't been delivered. On top of THAT, she's using excuses that are extremely incorrect (I won't say lies, but it's not far from it). We do not have a gate that requires a code. Our front porch is not inaccessible or unsafe. Our "compound" as the local post office supervisor called our property, is not unsecure. Amazon, FedEx, UPS, and Walmart and other assorted delivery people have ZERO COMPLAINTS. If this mail carrier has a problem with doing this job, I believe she'd better find another one. Something easier. 🤷‍♀️ PS .. the folks who work the counter inside are great. Very nice people. The attitude of the supervisor needs tweaked.

They don't answer phone, and my package is stuck at their facility when it should have been at mine. I should be able to just pick it ip

Informed delivery showed 15 pieces of mail to be delivered and received 0!! Asked driver and she no mail. Called post office and no one answered phone. Tried a chat on informed delivery and no agent came on line. Useless waste of time. Would give 0 stars if could as the P.O. customer service is non-existent. Perhaps a private company would be more efficient. They raise the cost of stamps, etc and lower the service.
