I recently moved back to Virginia and needed help to confirm my new adress so I could get a state ID. The clerk Ryan I think it was, was amazing from start to finish, he was very kind, helpful and reassuring and we need more people like him, thank you!

Do not pay for certified mail for any mail distributed by the Chesapeake, VA Battlefield office. Today and three times over the past year the postal worker from this office dumped the certified mail in the mail box and "squiggly lined" a signature in their system. The originator who paid for the service does not get reimbursed by their local post office. I am really disappointed and sad and will avoid the US Post Office.

Have lived in Chesapeake over a month and still have not received any mail. This post office claims that they do not have our mail but neither does our old post office. Every time we go in to ask about it they tell us they aren't able to help us.
