I love this USPS store in Charlottesville! I have only ever had the most positive experiences here, and I have been many, many times. The two men who regularly work up front are awesome and super knowledgeable (thanks, Gary!). Inside is super clean and they have everything I need to send my packages. Thank you!

I am in absolute shock over the disrespect from Gary. If I had the capacity to, I would retrain him on customer service. As a graduate student in Human Resources, I am saying this with experience and with hopes this situation will never occur again. Lastly, he was not wearing a mask during COVID-19. I added two stars for the beautiful building!

Package tracking number says it was delivered. Friend says it wasn't. I wonder who's lying. Probably not the friend. It cost me $25 to ship to San Diego and the package didn't even get delivered. Do not try to call this phone number as no one ever picks up. I found a separate number to talk to usps customer service (separate from the uselsss automated machine number you can easily find online) and they created a case number and gave it to the postmaster at this location. Didn't receive a phone call for weeks. Finally did but was at work so didn't pick up. Called back and once again did not catch a person during business hours. Left a message for the woman who called me. She never got back to me. I filed an insurance claim with the usps's customer service website since priority mail gets $50 of insurance included. The website is trash, to be frank, and kept refreshing on me and losing my data. Finally was able to submit only to receive a letter in the mail (idk why when I filed online) saying my request was denied. Usps is the most useless government entity. Don't use it if you can help it. Go to ups instead. Always faster and sometimes even cheaper. The US postal service will be obsolete soon because it is inefficient and people know it.
