If I could zero stars I would. The mail service center in Charlottesville, VA is just awful. We have not received mail in over a week. I will give them a pass for a few days while the weather was not great, but now it is well beyond the point of bad weather it is pure laziness and nothing but excuses for what they deem as bad weather. Our mail carrier is lazy and does not care. He walks the neighborhood talking on his phone and only delivers to a couple of streets. UPS, FedEx, Grubhub, Uber Eats can all deliver to my neighborhood but USPS cannot? I just don't get it.

I came to drop off two packages. One was my own box that I taped up, and the other was a Priority box. I thought, because I purchased the Priority box at the post office, that I would get a little sleeve to adhere the label to. Semonia, the representative assisting me, told me that we have to have packages taped and ready, “but this time, we’ll do it for you.” I responded, “Thank you, I appreciate it, and I appreciate you clarifying that for me.” To which she responded, “You already knew this.” I replied that no, I did not, and that it’s best never to assume anything and to be nice to others. She then skipped over the screen that asks, “Were you treated with courtesy and respect?” — no, I was not. She was extremely unprofessional and didn’t scan in my second package until I went back in and asked for the receipt with tracking of my own package I had taped up. There is a reason this location has substandard reviews. Be kind and professional and hopefully they can turn it around.
