- SASteve AtwellJan 12, 20221.0The worst experience trying to get my mail delivered to my house. My mail box is literally 1400 feet from the end of the road. It's a state road a no problem getting in and out of it. I was told it should be no problem at my local post office and to put the box up and fill out a form for someone to come out and inspect it. So I go buy a mailbox and post to mount it in the ground. Having recently had shoulder replacement surgery I had to find someone to dig the hole for me....... its all in the ground and I tell my local post office. Now I'm told I have to call Rhonda C post Master in cedar bluff. She pretty much told me that she wasn't going to approve it because she didn't want to add to the carriers route but would be out in a few days. About 3 weeks later she called and told me that I have to.move it down the end of the road. The 1400 feet.. I stressed again that I am not able to dig a hole and it only 1400 feet. She told me she didn't care if it was 5 feet and I need to find a way to dig the hole... NOT a nice woman. I am on a mission to find out who her boss is and have a discussion with that person.

That lasted about a week and now all of my mail is going to the old address again when I called to see what was going on Pam answered the phone asked how she could help in the most rudest tone if I might add, so I told her what had happened then she puts me on hold because she’s waiting on a customer. I stay on hold for 4 minutes then I hear the click. SHE HUNG UP ON ME! Never in my life have I had such unacceptable and rude service from anyone. Absolutely ridiculous!
