Had to make a Staples run, usually it's my husbands department. As I had to go out in any case, I did the Staples run. I went in blind straight to Customer Service wand returned 4 items for Amazon, Ai then needed color cartridges for my printer which he took me to in the store and then walked me back to the register and then also helped me to return 10 used cartridges. Then explained to me that within a 30 day period only 10 used cartridges are accepted, and that I would need to wait for 30 days before I would be able to return 10 more used cartridges. The salesmen who helped me explained everything with ease, and therefore mode it a quick in and out of the store for me. He knew exactly what I needed and helped me all the way through while noticing several kids entering laughing and and expressed his concern to other Staples members with respect and kindness and quietly as to not alarm me orthers their shopping. Keeping everything swift and orderly and keeping an eye on the loud noise kids who came in while he was ringing me up at the cash register. Smart man, I know kids can create havoc in a store having owned one before, we also were in high alert whe a bunch of teenagers came in at once and then scattered throughout our store. And it seemed to me that the Staples sales member was in his right to be concerned. Handled it graciously and he also quickly and calmly relayed his concerns to another of the Staples employees who went to work on the very loud and obnoxious teenagers who had just come in, all the while helping me as if nothing was going on and made for me a pleasant and quick in and out of the shop while protecting the store alerting additional staff all at the same time. I usually don't do Staples stuff that's my husbands responsibility but as I was going to be out anyways I offered to manage it this time. I found it quite to my surprise easy and quick and likely be doing more runs there when my husband is busy and I have to go out for something else. Its close to my home, not out of the way at all and I really like their program for recycling used cartridges. They are doing their best to help the environment that's important to me. So all in all A+ experience!

Went in to just use the restroom. On the way to the back of the store, I browsed just a bit at the computer/gaming chairs and some of them were filthy. The women’s restroom had a sign that said out of order. Cool, no problem. The men’s restroom did not have a sign to specify it wasn’t working. I knocked on The door, a gentleman answered to let me know he was inside. Waited about 2 mins. He exited & I proceeded in and wow, a huge disappointment! Barely 6 squares of cheap toilet paper, unused toilet paper sprawled all on the floor. Toilet paper shoved in between the handicap hand rails. Just absolutely disgusting. No additional rolls were available. I handled my business and flushed and noticed there weren’t any paper towels or a trash can to throw anything away. I go to wash my hands, the sink had hand orange hand soap all over it & the bottle was 3/4 empty. Electric outlet was hanging out of the wall, gave me the creeps b/c as a female folks do weird things with holes in the wall. I proceeded to head to the front to let an employee know that the restroom needed attention and I approached an elderly gentleman to let him know and the interaction was absolutely unprofessional. I said hello, do you work here, he said yes. I then explained nicely that the restroom needs attention and that there were no more toilet paper or paper towels, and the sink was absolutely filthy. He proceeded to argue with me that the restrooms are out of order and I said no the men’s restroom is operable, but there is a sign saying the women’s restroom is out of order. He continuously repeated that the bathrooms were out of order and I repeated myself no sir there is no sign on the men’s restroom and I’m only referring to the men’s restroom that needs attention. He seemed to not believe me & emphasized that the rr were out of order. Again, I repeated myself to him the three things that were an issue in the men’s restroom and I said I just wanted to make you aware and I wished him a nice day and walked away.
Very awkward experience & Very unprofessional on his behalf to negate my observation. I highly recommend that management above him, addresses him and his etiquette for customer service and to have them Check the restrooms on a consistent basis.
