Well, add another unpleasant experience with bearded Kevin at the counter just as per other recent reviews. Why is this guy still employed? He absolutely should NOT be in a customer-facing position. But I can't imagine he's a pleasant coworker either. Maybe he's a relative of the Post Master?

Incident Report – Berryville, VA Post Office
Date of Incident: August 13, 2025
Upon arrival, I approached the service counter and asked the clerk a question regarding Media Mail requirements for a book shipment. The clerk responded with a vague answer and displayed visible irritation.
I proceeded to ask clarifying questions. The clerk’s tone and demeanor became increasingly condescending. I informed the clerk that I would take my business to another location. As I exited the facility, the clerk laughed and smiled in response.
The clerk’s conduct was unprofessional, discourteous, and inconsistent with USPS standards for customer service. This interaction created an unwelcoming environment for a customer seeking assistance with postal services.
In addition to providing a review, I have also filed a formal complaint with USPS to review this incident and take appropriate steps to ensure customers are treated respectfully and provided with clear, helpful information.

"On May 17, 2025, I had an extremely negative and unprofessional encounter with a postal worker named Kevin at the Berryville Post Office. The interaction began as I attempted to ask a question while he was concluding with another customer. I was immediately met with a dismissive and rude demeanor in front of my young daughter and the other customer.
Despite apologizing for the perceived interruption and explaining it was a misunderstanding, Kevin's abrasive attitude continued. When I needed to mail an Amazon return and inquired about tape, he was unhelpful and condescending, stating I could purchase tape but his was reserved for priority mail.
The situation escalated when I retrieved tape from a nearby display. As I took one of the two rolls, the other roll and the peg hook fell from the display case. Upon picking it up, Kevin reacted by calling his supervisor, falsely claiming I was throwing items and threatening to involve the sheriff's office. This caused my daughter significant distress, leaving her in tears. I was mocking the situation on the phone, emphasizing her crying saying it was due to the way I was acting. My daughter herself stated, 'Sir, I'm crying because you are being mean.'
This behavior is unacceptable and aligns with multiple negative reviews I have found online specifically naming Kevin and detailing similar unprofessional interactions. Given my recent heart attack and ongoing cardiology rehabilitation, this stressful encounter was particularly detrimental to my well-being. Furthermore, my daughter is now fearful of visiting the post office due to this incident.
I intend to report this behavior formally and am considering further action due to the distress caused to both myself and my daughter, and the apparent pattern of misconduct by this employee.
