- ASApril SmithMay 3, 20191.0Last end of April beginning of May they tried to blame Canada post for my package not arriving when it had been in the US for over a week. The package had made it's way down to Roanoke and was sent back up to New Jersey where it sat for 4 days without being touched. The package contained my wedding cake topper. I spent hours on the phone with USPS myself before my package finally arrived at Axton 3 days before my wedding. Then in December of last year I had Christmas presents being delivered. They put a letter in my box that the package was at the post office READY for pickup. Drive there just to be told that the mail carrier still had the package and wouldn't be back until that afternoon and for me to come back and pick it up. So why didn't the letter have the time on the letter instead of saying it was ready now? Then this past Monday I went to the post office and told them I needed to overnight a letter. The woman said that the only thing she could do was priority 2 day mail it and have someone sign for it. She said it would get there by the 1st. Well it didn't get there until late yesterday and wasn't picked up until today. When I went up there today I was told that it wasn't a guarantee delivery and I should have expressed mailed it. When asked why I wasn't given that option Monday the only thing that was said was it should have been. This is the sorriest post office I've ever seen. Always make excuses and never do their job. I can't even count the number of times theyve placed the wrong mail in our box and placed our mail in other boxes. I guess from now on if its important I'll have to drive it there myself, that way it gets done correctly.
