Absolutely the most efficient, polite passport office in the DMV! After learning the Friendship Heights passport office closed in their post office, I immediately made an appointment here. It was flawless, convenient, and took under 20 minutes.

This is one of the worst post offices I've ever come across. Not only is staff usually rude to customers, but they consistently do not respect customers' choices. I've set 3 mail holds in the past few months, and all my mail had been delivered during the hold periods. I wish I could have a different post office instead of having to deal with this one. I talked to one of the postal workers there about this and they simply shrugged me off, as well as other customers in line. Completely unprofessional.

Great location and beautiful building with helpful staff. Easy to send mail out. However, they don’t sell postcard stamp sheets (only had an option to buy 100 stamps at once)…

Wedding stationers, I do not recommend this location (try others in the DMV). I do custom calligraphy for our annual holiday cards, and out of all the locations I've lived, this location has been the least helpful (in addition to SOOOO mean/rude). In 2024, they promised to hand-cancel envelopes... but took them to the back without doing them in front of me, or allowing me to do it on their behalf while they were helping other customers. They indeed arrived having been sorted through the machine, not hand-cancelled. This year (2025), I arrived in the afternoon and they refused to hand-cancel based on time of day. They told me to come back in the morning... well, they also didn't like the time of day in the morning I came back (different employees, and both rude each time). Avoid, avoid, avoid for all custom envelopes. Separately, I've had issues with large amounts of mail being "returned to sender", saying my address does not exist - I have to assume that's an issue with this post office. Photos from friends show my address as correct when this happens, often typed out so it should not be a readability issue. Have not had this issue in any other location I've lived (in the DMV or elsewhere).

The clerks were rude and inattentive. Two of my packages were sent to the same person instead of going to different people because the clerk scanned the same one twice. Her very costly sloppiness cost me a huge delay and I hope I can recoup the $200+ - praying that the recipient returns that package.
